Up the cable car to the top of the Hahnenkamm for an hour above the slopes — the panoramic alps, the famous Streif descending below, the long cinematic view.

Down for a considered lunch in the old town, then a slow afternoon walk along the frozen Schwarzsee with the Wilder Kaiser reflecting in the still water.

An hour in the upscale alpine lounge — a glass in hand, dark wood and candlelight around. The European hour, slowly, exactly as Kitzbühel keeps it.

Tennerhof for the considered chalet evening, or a long second sitting at Hallerwirt for the mountain-view close. Both deserve the early reservation.

The Londoner for one last cocktail with the room, then — if the night truly insists — Casino Kitzbühel for the considered late hour or Club Take-Five for the upscale close. The Hahnenkamm will keep.
