Ibiza, in pine and salt air.

A considered guide to the island — Dalt Vila mornings inside the walls, an afternoon between Cala Comte and Formentera, and the long Balearic evening between Sublimotion and Pacha that the island has quietly made its own.

A Note on the Island

Ibiza rewards those who keep to the quieter side.

The island is small enough to know in a long weekend and serious enough to keep returning to. Dalt Vila for the morning, the west coast for the afternoon, and the long evening between Cera 23 and Nobu Bay that Ibiza has quietly made its own.

What follows is a short, edited guide — four daytime moments, then two of each for the evening. Enough for a long weekend, or the start of something worth returning for.

A room worth returning to.

VI · A Sketched Itinerary

One day, lightly drawn.

Not a schedule — a suggestion. Move with the light, the sea, and the company you keep.

  1. 10:00

    Coffee in Dalt Vila

Start inside the walls — a coffee at one of the quieter cafés, a slow walk up to the cathedral. The day asks for nothing yet.

  2. 12:30

    Lunch on the west coast

Down to Cala Comte for a long lunch at one of the chiringuitos. Stay for the second coffee; the afternoon is in no hurry.

  3. 16:00

    An hour by the sea

Back to the hotel — the bay, a swim, an hour on the lounger. The pace, kept low.

  4. 19:00

    Sunset at Cap des Falcó

The drive south for the salt flats and a sundowner at Experimental Beach. Stay until the light turns the cliffs gold.

  5. 21:30

    Dinner

Sublimotion for the long theatrical tasting, Cera 23 for the quiet considered evening. Both deserve the early reservation.

  6. 01:00

    If the night insists

Hï for the long intentional close, Pacha for the storied one. One room, slowly. Let the island do the rest.

A Closing Thought

"On Ibiza the evening is unhurried, the company chosen, and the island is at its best for those who keep to the quieter side."
